The Problem

Unlock Your SoftwareHistorically, organisations have continually purchased expensive software licenses allowing their business to utilise this software for their day to day needs. Software produced in this way is continually changed and organisations are encouraged to purchase these new versions ensuring a continual revenue stream. With little business benefit from these new version of software, this model is great for their software business but offers little value to your business. It is well known that this old proprietary software model locks organisations into a single vendor preventing them to easily move to other IT solutions.
Thankfully these days are now over with free and open software providing the new and intelligent way for organisations to utilise software.

The Solution

Take Life Easy With Open Source SoftwareProviding solutions to organisations focused on removing cost from within existing IT budgets. Utilising a combination of free open source software and cloud computing solutions to drive out the high cost of software licenses. Designing and implementing business grade free open source software solutions ensuring seamless coexistence with existing IT systems.
Whether you are an organisation interested in reducing cost and complexity within your IT environment or would just like to learn more about free and open software, you have come to the right place.

The Person

My name is Mark Taber and I have over 20 years experience in IT working with a number of the most prestigious and demanding global companies. Over those 20 years, I have gained a vast amount of knowledge and experience by passing 24 IT industry exams and managing, designing and deploying many new technologies. During the 20 years I have seen many of these new technologies promise a lot but delivering little however, every now and then a new technology ripples through changing the way IT is used within business. We are now seeing that change with the move away from the expensive software license model to a free open source software model.

In the current economic climate, organisations have much to gain from free open source software but they need the assurance that they can continue to access their existing data and that they also future proof their organisation by investing in business grade IT systems. I can help provide organisations with this assurance by transitioning these organisations away from the costly IT models of old.
